WOLFDOG SANCTUARY

Wildlife viewing usually means patience, binoculars and lots of hoping. Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary doesn't work that way. It’s an experience rooted in respect, education and a commitment to sustainable tourism.

HIGHWOOD PASS LOOP DRIVE

Hop in your car and drive the scenic Highwood Pass Loop Drive. The stretch between River Retreat Kananaskis and Kananaskis Country spans roughly 100 km and typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours of continuous driving.

"Jaxy and Todd are great hosts and they make us want to come back as soon as we can. The hidden gem of their business is Jaxy's cooking. She could easily run a kitchen in any established restaurant. Many of the more well known attractions are also very accessible when using their location as a base."
